Mighty Big Grant Quadruples Its Impact in 2024
Quarter of a century, quadruple the impact —What would you do with $100,000 in marketing and branding services? In 2019, we celebrated 20 years of Mighty Citizen by donating $25,000 of marketing and branding services to one mission-driven organization. This year, in celebration of our 25th anniversary, we’re thrilled to bring back the Mighty Big Grant, quadrupling our impact by awarding one nonprofit $100,000 in branding and marketing services! And no, we’re not having a quarter-life crisis; we’re just older and wiser. Through our grant, we’re emphasizing our commitment to community (it’s one of our core values).
Is the Mighty Big Grant Right for You?
The 2024 Mighty Big Grant is open to all tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations seeking to improve their marketing and branding efforts. And this year, we’ve honed the decision process. We want to start by understanding your organization’s needs. What projects do you need support with? Is it a fresh website design, branding assistance, or a new marketing campaign? We’re looking for an organization with a powerful mission that has the potential to impact even more people with some added marketing or branding help.
Eligibility and Timeline
Any tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations based in the US are eligible to apply—just submit your application by midnight CT on April 30, 2024. We’ll review applications through the lens of Mighty Citizen’s core values and our capabilities. If they two align well with your needs, you’ll get an invitation to dive deeper into your answers from the first round.

Our 2019 Winner: Humanity & Inclusion
In 2019, The Mighty Big Grant was a new and exciting project. Choosing a winner was a difficult task, but we managed to narrow down nearly 500 applications to select our winner: Humanity & Inclusion (HI). HI is committed to people. They fight for individuals facing global emergencies and assist them in advocating for disability rights, rehabilitation efforts, and ensuring a safe life. And they know how to tell their story. In their stand-out application, HI conveyed their mission, their goals for the future, and most importantly, WHY they do what they do. It was a masterclass in storytelling that elevated them to our top choice to award $25,000 in marketing and branding services.
