After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in advertising, Valerie (“Val” around here) dove head first into a career in financial marketing at a state association. Over the next four years, her role naturally morphed from marketing into project management.
Discovering her love for the work, Val decided to search for an opportunity to grow and learn—and she landed here at Mighty Citizen.
Nearing a decade at Mighty Citizen, Val now spends her days as Vice President of Client Services, where she leads and mentors the Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing resource management and acting as an escalation point for project and client issues. She helps set the PMO’s strategic direction and ensures our team members are happy and well-supported.
When she’s not improving our project processes, Val enjoys spending time with her family and venturing around her farm with her black lab (Maverick) in tow.
