David learns.
He learns by choice. He learns on the fly. He says “yes” to every challenge, then reads and tinkers his way to a solution. It’s what he’s always done. It’s who he is.
David first got into coding and development at the University of Houston. In 2019, he started working as a WordPress developer. Since then, he’s learned to solve problems with Salesforce integrations, automated healthcare website chatbot performance, and obscure coding languages for servers.
As a front-end developer at Mighty Citizen, David translates beautiful designs into functional website components for our mission-driven organizations. His unflappable can-do ethos and problem-solving pathos grants our designers creative freedom to do their best work, even if it’s never been done before.
When he’s off the clock, you can find him pushing a lawnmower or spreading mulch in a flower bed at his home. You might also find him fishing or grilling—maybe even grilling a fish. Just don’t ask if he likes sour cream. Don’t.
