Dan is curious.
When Dan graduated with a degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, he didn’t immediately jump into the agency world. In fact, he initially worked as a project manager, building websites for independent hotels.
Having always wanted to experience other cultures firsthand, Dan spent four years abroad teaching English as a second language and supporting bilingualism initiatives for several foreign governments. He taught at a technical school in Thailand before working with the Ministry of Education in Colombia, where he managed other English teachers. After one final stint in Spain, Dan came to Austin to manage study abroad programs in Madrid and Morocco. Then, he joined our team at Mighty Citizen.
Dan is constantly inspired by our clients (who isn’t?) and is a lifelong learner with the hobbies and interests to show for it. He’s a self-proclaimed film dork, and spends his time at the gym, searching for his go-to hole-in-the-wall spot in Austin, or playing with Mancha, his canine partner-in-crime.
