Brooke serves.
Brooke is driven by collaboration. She’s a social justice-seeking mighty citizen, who unites community through her work, and boy, oh boy, is it obvious.
She is a philanthropic go-getter, having spent most of her career at Meals on Wheels Central Texas as their Director of Marketing. And driving the marketing direction for a major nonprofit wasn’t all Brooke did (pun intended). Wanting to develop her craft and make a greater impact on Austin and the world, in 2020, Brooke went back to school and earned her Masters of Nonprofit Management at Regis University.
Outside of work, Brooke carries the same passion for social good and has volunteered with Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership since 2010 and served on the Texas Capital Area Leadership Seminar Planning Committee from 2016-2019 and their board from 2019-2022. But that’s not all. Brooke has been on the board of directors of Drive a Senior - Austin, Texas (DASATX) since 2018 and even served as President in 2020 and 2021. We’re thoroughly impressed; what board doesn’t Brooke serve on?
Project management and Brooke’s natural ability to lead fit together like two peas in a pod; she thrives in a space where she can make a difference and drive collaboration amongst the team.
Brooke is an avid reader, and she loves all book genres and averages over 100+ books a year (all thanks to her library card). Josie, her adorable cat, loves her mom’s reading hobby since it means lots of snuggles and great stories. When she’s not reading, you can find her at a Texas State Park, working to check them all off her map!
