ASAE Gold Circle Award
Every Body Texas received the ASAE Gold Circle Award for their website rebranding. ASAE’s Gold Circle Awards highlight the creativity and innovation that association leaders bring to the table and the results which positively impact associations and their members within the marketing and communications scope.
Every Body Texas came to Mighty Citizen as the Women’s Health and Family Planning Association of Texas (WHFPT—or, colloquially, woof-pat). With a name, brand, messaging platform, and website that didn’t truly reflect their work or passion, it was time for a comprehensive rebranding. Every Body Texas met us at the drawing board and together, we were able to create a brand that is as vibrant and proud as the people doing the work.

Web Excellence Awards
Web Excellence Awards, (or WE-Awards, for short) were launched to help recognize and inform excellence on the web and to set high industry standards for creative, technical, and professional projects and websites. We are delighted that two Mighty Citizen clients have received WE-Awards this year.
Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) received an award under the Website–Computer/ IT category. DIR partnered with Mighty Citizen to improve their website’s user experience, branding, and information architecture. By implementing consistent messaging throughout their website, creating an intuitive visual design, and using best practices for accessibility, we raised awareness of DIR’s services to help users find the information and resources they need.
In the Website–Environmental Awareness category, North Fort Bend Water Authority (NFBWA) received an Excellence award. NFBWA came to Mighty Citizen with a lack of local awareness and a website that didn’t suit their organizational goals. With a complete website redesign, NFBWA has been able to effectively communicate with their audiences and begin working towards larger organizational goals. Now, North Fort Bend Water Authority has the information and resources they need to promote water conservation with an organized, user-friendly, and beautifully-designed website.
American Graphic Design Award (GDUSA)
For the 2021 GDUSA Annual Design Awards, Graphic Design USA sought to recognize the value of authenticity, transparency, and human connection in a post-pandemic world. Their mission: To reflect the many ways in which graphic design shapes business, society, culture, and causes—and how it can be a source of clarity and lucidity at a moment of murk and confusion.
Our client, Every Body Texas, has received a Graphic Design award centered around their unique branding, innovative campaign work, and visual messaging that furthers their mission to ensure the rights of access to fundamental women’s healthcare. Every Body Texas’ new logo and brand revolves around three colors—one for each audience. Now, anyone looking for their resources for policy and advocacy will recognize the same color along the way. Their team can create any page in each of the colors to align with their audience, keeping the site templating simple and engaging while still having a truly segmented website.
