Press Release: Mighty Citizen Awarded Cooperative Contract from Texas Department of Information Resources

AUSTIN, TX — Mighty Citizen is proud to announce our newly-awarded contract from the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) for Deliverables-based IT Services (DBITS).
DBITS contracts provide project-based IT solutions and services. The success of the solicitation is based on the deliverable outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) issued under the DBITS contract. These contracts are ideal for developing a new IT application, upgrading a legacy system, or for general IT procurement assistance, including Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) services. DIR had an overwhelming interest in DBITS contracts, with over 200 vendors submitting responses for this most recent round of contract awards.

The Texas Department of Information Resources provides leadership, strategy, and technology solutions to Texas state government, education, and local governments. DIR’s Cooperative Contracts Program helps government agencies save money when purchasing IT products and services.
