Mission Possible: Mapping Your Association’s Path to More Effective Marketing

The more mature—or effective your marketing is, the more impactful; the less mature, the less impactful. Where your marketing stands today tells a story of where you’ll be tomorrow. To create more effective strategies, associations must regularly evaluate their current marketing initiatives and glean insights and trends from their association marketing peers. This dual approach is crucial for refining marketing practices and developing a plan with leadership buy-in that you’ll need to achieve greater results.
In this presentation, we’ll review results from the 2024 Marketing Benchmarks for Associations report, showcasing how to use the data and trends to assess your marketing performance and develop a plan to improve it. We’ll also review leadership’s role in marketing and approaches for engaging them.
By the end of the session, you’ll be able to:
Define what marketing maturity is and how it relates to marketing effectiveness.
Review data from the 2024 Marketing Benchmarks for Associations, including trends and insights.
Showcase how to use the Mighty GPS assessment and benchmarks to assess your marketing performance and develop a plan to improve it.
Review leadership’s role in marketing and approaches for engaging them.
