Project Coordinator

Our Project Coordinators are responsible for helping keep client projects on time and on budget and for supporting our design and development teams. Project Coordinators are integral to the success of our work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling support to the project manager, design, and development teams through all phases of project lifecycle
  • Work with the project manager to ensure timely and accurate status reporting for client projects
  • Create process and project documentation and take ownership for maintaining an accessible and up-to-date document repository
  • Manage the process of integrating content into the Content Management Systems we build for clients
  • Manage the quality assurance testing process to ensure Mighty Citizen solutions meet or exceed client expectations and align to defined project goals
  • Manage the process of training clients on their site’s Content Management System
  • Manage bug tracking, respond to bug reports, and field incoming support requests
  • Nurture ongoing support client relationships
  • Prepare presentation materials and documents for internal and client-facing meetings and facilitate meetings
  • Coordinate project activities from pre-kickoff through project wrap-up
  • Participate in client discovery sessions and help translate feedback into requirements
  • Continually evaluate project management systems and processes and contribute suggestions for improvement
  • Update weekly project hour reports that are posted in the MC project management system to alert team members. Consult with PM on ways to reduce hours when necessary
  • General accounting support, including drafting estimates for clients, reviewing client account renewals, and reviewing monthly billing
  • Help coordinate resource allocation
  • Other tasks required to make you and the company successful


  • A positive attitude with customers and team members
  • Highly developed leadership, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Experience scheduling resources across projects and an aptitude for resolving conflicts between competing priorities
  • Experience managing customer requirements
  • Beginner knowledge of web development, including some familiarity with best practices and standards related to writing for the web, user experience design, search engine optimization, and HTML/CSS
  • A history of successfully managing multiple duties in a fast-paced team environment. Experience with managing remote teams a plus


  • 2 years project coordination or project management experience (web project coordination/management a plus)
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and other common productivity tools such as Google Drive, Zoho, chat programs, and project management systems. Experience with Quickbooks is preferred, but not required.
